You can add a white filter if you want (as such http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...FRDxOgodHmEASw) OR just remove all the green, use a 5K or 6K SMD led bulb while the clear frosted plastic on the gauge face to produce your white.
I did add 3M white reflective tape inside the gauge cluster to help directly the light around to certain areas.

My mod is a little different though. I'm matching the main cluster to the Phantom II gauges I've installed in the stock pod. I'm still not a 100% done yet but when I started this mod I only had Ed's YouTube video to go by. So needless to say I had to do this twice. Best of luck!
