    Bad Axle Seal

I had an axle seal go bad. Took it to the dealership and they notified me of the TSB about changing the axle fluid over to a synthetic. The TSB also says ford is replacing the seals, bearings, and the axles as well. Feels like its running a bit smoother now.

That's good news! You have a good dealership there!

Usually TSB expire when the car is out of warranty.

TSB under warranty is gone but the parts in the box for the tsb make the price of the items less than if you purchase them individually. Axles, bearing, seals and lube all in the box.

TSB is just a service message regarding a repair. Warranty coverage is either factory 3/36 or under and extended service plan(ESP). Fortunately I was able to purchase a Ford ESP warranty when I picked up my MM here a couple months ago, so I'm covered for pretty much everything for the next 3yrs/36k miles.

You had the axles and bearings replaced, not just the seals, right?
