BFG tires rear size finally gone?

I know that some hate the BFGs, but for those of us that found them to be a good tire, I noticed the rear size are on closeout at TireRack now. Guess they are finally going away as TireRack was one of the last places I was able to find that carried the BFG rear size for the MM.

I think they run the tire at certain intervals and then close them out til the next run

That was the deal a few years ago when they made the bad run. But I wonder if they are finally going to stop making them.

Hey tbone what's happening and all that.

When I needed rear tires I call BIG and they gave me a number for my tire dealer to call and I got rear tires in 2012. Last year they had a run of the rears and I bought 2 at that price on line
So we will see what goes

I waited 9 months the last time and was the first to get a set that were stamped wrong. I'll probably get a set of Coopers next time. I just wish the fronts would wear out at the same time as the rears. It's always one pair or the other that are worn out and I want a matching set.

I got sick of the games BFG played with our tires and went with Nitto Motivos. I'm satisfied so far. BFG can go sit and spin.

I like the tread pattern. What's the closest they make to the rear size we need? Are they speed rated? I know I can look it up, but you probably know off the top of your head and I'm lazy at the moment.

The last time I bought rear tires from TireRack it didn't say "Closeout". It said out of stock or something and I had to wait a number of months until the next tire run. So me thinks they are going bye bye this time.

They make stock sizes. I ordered them from Discount Tire Direct .com. Price was competitive and they came quick.

I looked them up on Discount tire. Exactly the right specs. When did they come out with these?
