    Speedometer cluster access

I need to access my speedometer cluster.

I have removed the trim and removed 6 screws from under the trim and the 2 screws above the cluster. The cover, however, is not wanting to come off (resistance) so as to allow access to the cluster. Have I missed removing any fasteners? Or do I need to apply more force to remove? The area around the air vents seem to offer the greatest resistance.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the stock radio is in place it must be removed. If there is an aftermarket radio it will come out with the trim piece.

You did remove the center trim on both sides of the steering column, because there are screws under it.

Yes, I removed the center trim on both side of steering column. It is an aftermarket head unit. I just didn't want to force anything and risk breakage. Thanks
