Big Brakes on a not-so-big Budget? YEP

Introducing another joint collaboration between myself and lji372 (love that guy)

Although not 100% complete in development, the meat and potatoes are here for me to share with you.
    Here is the list:

GT500 Rotors from NAPA: $125 part # 880497 (You need to open the hub I.D .030, easily accomplished with a die grinder)
    http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...497_0387025606
C5 Corvette Semi-Loaded Calipers w/brackets: ~$300 (looking for better deals)
    http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...54A_0248561055
    http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...53A_0248561065
Stainless Steel Brake Lines with brackets and fittings: Todd@TCE
Ceramic Brake Pads: $95 (You can buy whatever you want)
Custom brackets with Bolts/washers: $155 Shipped

When this is all done, I will provide part numbers, links, basic instructions and all photos I have taken.
All that will be provided to you from the site is brackets. (maybe the bolts) You must look off of my provided recipe to supply the rest.

    WOOOHOOOOOOOO... to Me & Jerry

Keep in mind my Calipers were modified by Baer. The calipers you will get from NAPA may say Corvette on them....Im not sure.

No more 500 dollar rotor replacements. No more $1400+ big brake price tags.

Off the shelf parts, easy recipe to make this yourself, why did it take me 10 years?

Edit 4/7/17: SO MANY PM'S asking where to buy the brackets and lines.
    lji372 for Brackets
    Todd@TCE for the lines.

what are the chances the GT500 rotors are close enough to fit with an already existing Baer kit?

How about something for the rears?

Nope. Almost a 1/4 difference in offset

I'm going to look into that next but having a functioning parking brake and keeping it relatively inexpensive is probably not going to be possible

Yes they are, from a 2010 listing
I am still exploring other calipers that are better, but they are so wide on the outboard portion we would need new wheels for sure

The brackets for this with a gt500 rotor changed on both the x and Y axis. It's not a Baer duplicate by any means

Get rid of the shoes and get a caliper with an integrated parking brake.

What kind of modification is required to the brake lines?
