Cheaper is always better, that's why Gov't always goes with low bid, because the quality is better.
Then I look at this thread, and I see many people who made fun of a certain member for cutting corners on his Marauder, doing the same thing. Good grief..... a big brake kit has been put in front of you guys, and your looking for ways to cheapen up the cost, I mean it's just brakes, those aren't important at all, good spot to cut corners, what's next, used motor oil?
I LOVE Jerry's bar, it's my kinda place...........

What do you mean by cheaper rotors? As long as they are the correct fitment for the gt500. Cheaper rotors will be more prone to warp and wear but overall effectiveness shouldn't be much different.
I eat apples until my stomach feels much more full than its normal.
I'm not looking for cheaper, I just want some slotted or cross drilled. The price is great

Zack said he exclusively uses NAPA brake parts. I don't use NAPA for anything unless it's a last resort. I'm not looking for used brakes, or the cheapest. I'm shopping around, because I'm not made of money and if I can drop the price on this by $50-100, guess what? That's $50-100 I can put toward something else I might need or want.
Either way, it's dialogue about a project that is currently in development. Dialogue that might help some other people who aren't made of money.
You wanna compare me to someone else? For reference, I paid for every car I've owned. I've never put kerosene in any of my cars. I've never detailed them with Windex, and I've never had to replace a motor...and I almost always spin my own wrenches, even when a repair is out of my comfort zone. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I run full syn at 3000 intervals with a FL820S. Capiche?
Either way, from the original post:

I've found Advance wearevers to work extremely well on mine. I actually just installed them right on to my 4 year old unturned ebay slotted and drilled rotors last year and simply can't believe the nose dive stops. No comparison at all to the factory crap it came with.
I don't think price is a real driving force if your already in 5-600. I like to save where I can as I've sat back and watched others upset at paying the piper only to have the piper blowing his flute up their bungholes. Don't get me wrong, the first things I research out are the highest dollar amount and have no problem at all saving up for it and I normally prefer the best at any cost. But personnel preference and walking the offbeaten path (like purchasing a MM in the first place...) usually decide the purchase.

Thanks for the effort on this! I am on vacation so buying and searching parts will not happen right now (though looking at MM.net is!); but when I get home it is shopping time.
Question on the brackets? Do we need to send you a core or anything like that?

Slotted gt500 rotors are astronomically priced.
Got one brake line done. About 1/2 inch from the tire at full turn, but I have a 255 up front. 235's will be a dandy fit

For the record:
The brake line parts I chose are hard to position properly and clear everything.
