    Talking Marauder Die Cast cars

Logan has given me permission to start this thread, Iam reposting my last reply from the thread "What Santa forgot on his sleigh"

OK OK, It's a little to soon to start taking anyones money just yet. I might be treading on thin ice here due to the no selling rules but I will take a chance and lay this out for you. Please understand that this project hinges on tooling availability and making the required changes to it to make it a Marauder. If the tooling is available it will take at least 16 to 20 weeks from art approvals to get product. If the tooling does not exsist then it is a matter of how many can made and sold to justfy the cost of the tooling. Two of the 9 manufactures have already replied "No Tooling" but the best ones have yet to answer. I'm thinking of adding (if the project is a go) a Jacket! and no you won't be able to wear it. Will post progress as I go.

All who are interested please reply to billatpro@aol.com

I have no pricing at this time but my experience with these programs tells me the price would be around $60.00 depending on the total production run. I would like to do 2500 pieces. any questions "fire away"

    Thanks

Well, I guess I assumed you too' after all how would it look if our leader were left out? One question for all!

Although it might well mean a long delay on the project, should I hold up until new paint colors are finalized and do a mixed production of colors?

No, just Black. Keep cost down, and this car looks best in black.

To me, a Marauder comes one way, and it "leaves" better.

    Like Richard Pryor's poem...Black.

    Thumbs up

Bill, what SCALE diecast are we talking here? 1:18, 1:24? I assume for $60.00 we'd be getting something bigger than a 1:43, right? I'd be very interested as long as it's black!
