    1969-1970 X100 Values

Just curious. Might be in the market for a unique muscle car. Don't think I'll ever find my 1970 Torino GT, 429 CJ, shaker, 4spd, yellow w/white bucket interior and hideaways. So, maybe a 1969 or 70 Marauder to compliment my '04? I found one locally, but it is kinda rusty around the rear window, trunk floor, bottom of quarters and rear floor pans. Supposedly, runs and drives. Mostly, the rest original. What would be a good price for something like this (obviously needs work but could be a occasional driver?)?? What does a nice example bring? Are these really collectable?

I know much less about these than the older models. That being said, I think real nice ones are 20k ish, maybe more. I do know that parts are HARD to find, so if you want a nice one, buy a nice one.

I was thinking about buying one to restore/drive, not a trailer queen type of car. I don't mind if it needs some work, but, I don't want to get buried, either.

    NADA says $6,633 to $24,215 for a 1970 X-100 with AC, with $11,817 average.

    1963 Mercury Monterey Custom (marauder)

    Hey Kirk,

This Merc I have as you know is a 63 and originally came with a 2 barrel carb. My question is are there suppose to be only one outside door rear view mirror on the driver side door or are there suppose to be one on both doors?

The reason I ask is mine only has one on the driver side and on the passenger side there are no visible holes or a place where one is suppose to go but I was just looking at one on ebay (a black one with red interior) and it is a 63 Marauder but it has two mirrors.

Thanks kirk. I saw that before, but I wasn't sure how accurate those numbers are.
