    Tittle of Fastest 1/4 MPH

I was looking at the Timeslip page and noticed a couple things, no Marauder Vortech entries; also I am sitting near the bottom of the page.

Being the sensitive guy that I am, went looking for a positive to correct this situation. Found what I was looking for: I now lay claim to this title: Fastest MPH of any 14 second car.

Now that I have a tittle, I am going to go wash and wax my car....beat me if you can.

We probebly won't be back to the track for a couple of months. And I don't get to race it till next year.

Ok, that tittle didn't last long, so in the interest of being able to sleep at night.... I bestow upon myself this new tittle: Fastest MPH of any 14 second car with a 4.6 liter engine.

Ok will see how long that will last.

PS: Car is washed and waxed, looking good.

Ummm...Hey Smoke, howyadoin? Well, ummm...this past Feb 29, I ran a 14.23/105.87 MPH, and a 14.052/106.37 MPH at US 41...Does it count? I mean, you did ask to hear from the Vortech powered cars...

Sarge you always count, but you sort of expect to see the time listed in the database and I suspect your car is a 12 second car.....106 mph on a 14 second run???? Did you take off on ice ????????

I'm just teasing you, Javier. Yes, it was almost ice, and I'm still working out traction issues. Opening day for the track, some things needed to get cleaned up, but I came away with a 12.91/106 MPH as the best of the day.

I'm kinda funny about ETs, I prefer to look at a whole season of performance, not just a few runs in colder air. Also, I get teased by Zack and Jerry W. about how I can improve my MM, but I'm not keen on changing Kenny's initial design. I am pleased with my overall "average" performance in the 1/4 mile, but I wouldn't be much competition among the supercharged class here. The car wasn't built for this style of racing, and I don't mind being last. I love to go in circles though...

Sarge, I'm happy with my car also, it has given me a great deal of pleasure and it performs well.

I'll share this with you and also anyone that reads this post. I started this thread with two things in mind, to increase participation in the timeslip database and also to add a little lighthearted humor to our forum... I know, I know, I'm not that funny. but lately it's been kinda serious around here, a little too intense at times and it bothers me to see people that I like and care about snap at each other.

Now I'm the one being serious....anyways I am now going to bestow upon me a new tittle: Happiest Marauder Owner.

Everyone is welcome to take this tittle away from me.
