mecum auction coming up

Any going over to the Mecum /Auction Jan 16 till the 25th ?

I have some friends that told me they were coming down from New York. If they do I'll most likely drive up to see them and the Auction.

I just bought a few of Ron Pratt's cars so Mecum is not going to happen for me.

Some of his cars along with Boyd Codington and Carroll Shelby have needed a couple of Brinks trucks fully loaded to pay for them. I've been watching past couple days but Scottsdale has always been the high-high dollar one of all the Barrett-Jackson auctions. Mecum is more in my dollar neighborhood although Mecum has high-high dollar ones also just not like B-J and B-J doesn't seem to have as many lower dollar ones. Went to Mecum Dallas a couple years ago and may plan to go again this year.

Usually, the cars that go on the early days of B-J are more of the everyman's cars, but not so this year with the Pratt stuff running through on the early days....

30 or so of his good stuff will be selling on saturday. The cars that were on tuesday were awesome.
