Enjoy everyone. This is definitely too far for me.
wow, this is truly an honor and we are humbled to be selected as the site of MV2015! Thanks to Mary and the MM.net admins for considering and selecting our proposal.
I wanted to provide a couple of quick notes to the community as we get planning under way:
This is the first West Coast specific large regional meet. We are taking cues from successful events in the past (Maraudervilles, Louisvilles, New Hampshire, etc...), but we're keeping things more laid back. We are planning & tailoring MV2015 as a "Destination Event" which means: less structure on the itinerary and more freedom & flexibility to explore the sights and sounds of Vegas. We know there is a lot to see and do in Vegas and we want to afford the community the luxury of being able to explore on their own.
While Vegas may be a far drive for folks to make, we are exploring options of picking people up in our Marauders at the airport and pairing them throughout the weekend with drivers of their choice. We're hopeful and excited that many members may decide to come out and have fun even if they are Marauder-less. We are committed to making this event engaging and fun-filled and are looking forward to sharing details with everyone shortly!

Need moar $$... I'm sure the time off won't be an issue. Especially if I stay with my current gig at the speed shop; but definitely looking for greener pastures.
Regardless; I will do all in my power to try and go. I would love to be a part of a big event like this.
Current cars:
2003 Marauder (*mostly* all original)
2020 Kia Niro Hybrid (wife’s car & our commuter)
Previously owned a 2004 DTR and a 2003 DBP…and 76 other vehicles but we don’t have time to list all that.
I am planning on going...My wife and turtle too...
Common Anthony we've got to get an interstate convoy going!
I eat apples until my stomach feels much more full than its normal.
unfortunately 64 hours total drive time is not happening
I'll be in Vegas for 3 weeks this year in August so I should be good, lol
You guys have fun though
a few years ago, my wife and I drove from the Hoover dam to the grand canyon in just over three hours. There is no speed limit on I-40. Three hundred miles of pure adrenaline. I was being passed by cars while I was driving at 125 mph.
We had a rental Shelby Mustang. I rest my case.
Count me in ! Thanks to Vegas guys for all the work, past and future to make is happen. Will there be a South Coast room discount code to use to make reservations ?
