Just made our reservations, very easy and no resort fee! But, I did add a fridge for $15/night. You'd think this would be included, but the room is cheap enough anyway so I'm not complaining.

For the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Drag Strip.
Is a Helmet required for the track.I'd love to do some runs.

Then check out the Grand Canyon Sky Walk after the events.

I double checked with my drag racing expert, he confirmed a helmet is mandatory. I would go to the mob museum late afternoon, then walk over to the Fremont Experience for some live entertainment, plenty of places to eat downtown as well.

The racing is late at night, "Midnight Mayhem", humidity is quite low in Vegas, single digits to 20% max, and it will be rather warm in late September.
