    Viva Las Vegas

Just watched the movie with Ann Margret and Elvis....fantastic and a must see for you all going to Vegas in September. A car race through what is now the Fremont experience to the Hoover dam, and Ann Margret (what can I say)!

I saw this movie on the big screen in the local drive-in when it first came out.

Of all the many Elvis leading ladies, Ann was the only one that could steal the spotlight from Elvis.

She also showed true class in her personal life.

    I loved her in Tommy.

I know we're off topic, but there's one Ann M movie that never shows on TV.

    "Bus Reilly's Back in Town"

Also, Elvis was offered the role on Tony in West Side Story, but Colonel Parker turned it down.

And, Charleston Heston wanted the role of Chief Brody in "Jaws". Probably a good fit, but he might have taken over the whole movie.

My wife and I have been going to Vegas for 20 years. Thought I'd add a couple of my favorite things to do.

Best Prime Rib in the West and stay for the show at Mystic Falls

My favorite show on the strip...It used to be Folies Bergere until it closed but now it's the Cirque-Du-Soleil "KA" at the MGM. The stage is worth the price of admission
