Great car, good web site but poor choice for a tee shirt that represents our members. The shirt was made for Vegas and needs to stay in Vegas.
I am so sorry that the first vision of the shirt displeased you. Seriously. As the elements evolved through the process, there was never any thought of placing a religious "cross," nor from what I can see, the placement of one in actuality. I too hovered for a minute over the use of SIN CITY... But it fit too nicely to capture the Roman numeral XIII element, and this is both artsy, educated, and just plain cool. As far as the term "Sin City" itself, the term is widely used as a reference to Las Vegas without condemnation AND without real negative connotation to the city itself.

Please know that NO ONE meant any disrespect nor denigration of religion beliefs of any kind.

I hope that you can overlook the first reflexive response, and see the love and mirth that went into creating the shirt, and that the design grows on you, at least to the point of nuetrality, knowing how hard folks worked on it.

The goal was to live up to the cool shirts of the past AND place mark the location, all in a fun wrapper.

I admit I was completely surprised by your reaction, and respecting it waited this long, viewing the pictures many different times before responding.

I still don't see it, but respect that you do.

I hope you are attending, and that we get to meet. I'd love to buy you a coffee.

I was greatly impressed, and think it extra cool that the bumper is from the "Marauder Show Car" ... And not production.

    More cool stuff to come

I am totally offended by this. If it was a 2xl and had various patches of hair.... It'd be me.

And I did not release use of my likeness.
