These cars are simply not designed to run on propane, the system can't take much pressure and is just for cruising so if you wanna do quick accelerations or get up to speed revving over 3K you must switch back to regular gas. We've tried everything to solve the CEL error, new tunes and all sorts but we couldn't figure it out so I have to live with it. You can reset it and it's absolutely fine running on gas but as soon as you switch to propane it comes back on with the evaporative emission system leak. The only reason I run propane is because it's so much cheaper at $2.10 a gallon versus $5.40 for gas currently plus propane prices are stable, gas prices constantly vary between $5 and $8 so it's cheap at the moment.

Hey Jim, Achim and I both drive our Marauders all the way though winter, they are our dailys, so we will probably be getting together during winter as well. I will definitely be setting up another Euro Marauderville next summer with a much bigger turnout than this years. I'm already getting in touch with owners all across the continent and I will start the planning early so that everybody gets a chance to attend. Speaking of which, I remember you told me you had another guy from England enquiring to you about next years Euro Marauderville, I stilll need you to email me his contact details so I can include him in the planning process.

    Hi MG Driver

Where was my invite to the Season Closer Cruise?

My Marauder has gone into storage for the winter but I could always turn up in my Town Car

I didn't think the little cruise would be worth a trip across the continent but I'm hoping to see again you at next years Marauderville!

Oh and by the way, what is winter storage?

20151213_091654.jpgHi Marvin and all of my European friends.
This past Sunday (Dec 13th) we took all of our cars out of winter storage and had (we think) one more Sunday breakfast cruise. The temp was 71 degrees F.
On year ago to that date, we had three inches of snow on the ground, and more was falling.

It's mild and warm over here as well with temps getting up to 60°F still, apparently it's the warmest December since the start of recordings for us this year. Meterologists believe we won't be seeing any snow at all this winter, global warming at its finest.

I have been debating for months if I should park the Marauder for winter and buy a beater or safe the money and just continue to drive the Marauder through winter but if it says like this I definitely made the right decision.

It will be 70+ degrees during Christmas here in North Carolina.

Last night, the news programs were all predicting a Christmas day temperature of near 70 F.

We are going to do a BBQ for Christmas this year, something I've never been able to do before. As far as I'm concerned these temperatures are more than welcome to remain until spring kicks in.
