I will shoot dark photo tonight, with tail lights etc.

My point is/was this when I started the thread. Every X years, items take what I call a quantum leap in quality, reliability, use, integration, etc. it doesn't happen all at once, but rather, step by step, new applications one at a time.

It simply seems like the lighting has made that "leap" and I now understand, can see, and can visualize the dramatic epic difference.

The lighting alone on this caddy is simply cool.

Doesn't require it because there are so many case studies already on the subject. An LED bulb is only as good as it's housing as it is very directional, and the lifespan only as good as its heat dissipation.

You can make HID projectors look very factory with minimal bling, there's even square shrouds out now.

Rest assured though I am enroute to catching up. My infinity M35S Tech, had HID's that turned left and right 3/8 inch or more when the car turned, and that was super cool when driving in dark mountains etc. It also had what I called "grampers lights" that lit the forward corner/side when you used the blinker (who does that anymore?) It also had led spot type lights in overhead that lit up the cup holder consol area (only-no light wash) from above.

Until that car went back on lease, I didn't realize how cool all of these were.

Here is a 3/4 of the new Caddie XTS.

Note these are the convenience lights that stay on when you unlock car from fob, or lock car to exit.

I almost bought an XTS myself... Settled on this though... I do like the accent lighting. Handles are a bit much for me, but it's cool tech that I do like as well.

No LED can be compared so far with a genuine HID (not cheap stuff like xentec) in output lighting.
An LED replacement bulb in a halogen housing will not project the proper lighting to the floor. An HID kit in a halogen housing is cancer for pupils we all know that!

The only and best way to archive the best lighting experience on the road will be using an HID intended projector with a genuine brand HID kit.

Nice Buick Verano. I have been test driving cars. The Verano has the best ride & handling along with the quietest cabin of any car I have driven.

    Need more photo action here....

You have $1000+ in light bars... Those don't compare to drop in LED bulbs . Also you should know more than anyone... stock F150 HID's sucks.... RAPTOR Retrofits is so popular for that reason. Lucky for you I happen to know someone whom could do that retrofit for cheaper....
