kooks Headers and X-pipe with high flow cats

I just got my Kooks headers and X-pipe with high flow cats. There pretty sweet. There stainless so I will either HTS coat them. Or polish them myself. What mufflers would work nice. Magnaflow Borla or Flowmaster mufflers. The Jefferson are 1 5/8 to 2 1/2 collectors. And the X-pipe with high flow cats is 2 1/2. So since nobody makes a Catback back. For a Mercury Marauder. That blows because they make catback for a Crown Victoria or a Mercury Grand Marquis. But no love for the Mercury Marauder. ANY HELP would be appreciated !

Keep in mind Ythat you'll need to tune the car after the header install.

I know Martyo. I only go 10k mileage on my DTR Mercury Marauder. I have a SCT-4 tuner. With a 93 octane tune. In her now. But I have to put it back to stock. To pass NYC inspection. Pass it then put like the parts on. What mufflers do you think will be the best. I am a Mustang man. This is my first mod motor. I am a Flowmaster man. But Magnaflow and Borla are nice too. Not sure which one's to get.

    Borla.
I prefer the long ones, XL part number.
Most people use the shorter XS version.
    Stock pipes post-muffler.
    Stock tips.

I run 18" Magnaflows with the same front set up as yours and love the sound. Not too loud until you get on it. My

Your present tune will not make the necessary adjustments for the headers..who's tune is it? or where are you looking for a new tune after install?

I have a Dennis Rinehart 93 octane tune in it now. But I am putting it back to stock. For the New York State inspection. Then I will download a tune. At the SCT.COM page. I know alot of people don't like Dennis Rinehart. But he has touched my car since new. I bought it off a Fort Lauderdale Highway Patrol cop. With the 7k original miles. She has 10k original miles. And it had a 91 octane tune in it. When I bought it. So here they sell 93 octane. So Dennis send me the 93 octane tune. He work with me fine. I haven't had a problem with him yet. But I know alot of you don't like him. Lol

I have to add a couple things:

    1. Stainless Works makes a full exhaust for our cars.

    2. If I were you I would get a tune off Marty and forget Dennis exists

3 As for many of us "not liking" Dennis, those are beyond kind words for the man... "Despise" and "Hate" are much more accurate.

I don't think he knows why Dennis is not liked around here for 99.9% of the members. All it takes is a first time..maybe it will be his turn.

I hear you guys. But the man worked on my car since it was new. And when I bought it. The guys that had it. Told me he was the one that tuned it. And did the front and rear slotted and cross drilled rotors. With pads and braided hoses. The man hasn't done me dirty yet. But hey you all don't like him. That is fine. Oh so the SCT-TUNES are garbage. My car runs great right now. With a 93 octane tune and a JLT Cold air kit. But that is cool. Not here to argue with any of you guys. I just finished ordering side entrance 2.5 and middle exit 2.5 Borla mufflers. I thought this is a Mercury Marauder group. That are here to HELP each other. BUT THANK YOU L. FOR YA'LL INPUT. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT !

NO disrespect, lets not say the canned SCT tunes are garbage, they leave a LOT on the table. I have had a canned tune, and a tune from Marty. It is a completely different car. Just on the tune alone.
