What garage/shop stuff have you built today?

After enough wishing I had a set I built these telescoping jacks Friday night. Since my garage door rails and roof prevent me from lifting more than around 4 1/2/5 feet I couldn't find any that would work for me, not to mention an average of $120 each.. Total cost $47 after tax for both! Win. And they are strong as an ox!

Some wrenches from the past. First a 1 1/16 converted line wrench with extension adapter for many different EGR nuts. This has been a life savor many times over.

I have a customer that owns 5 Hondas and it seems I am adjusting the valves at least once a year on one or more so this little guy tightens the jamb nut while you hold back on the screwdriver end on the lifter. Sooo much easier to reach.

Hold back wrench for an 8.8 yoke. Can't begin to say how much that helped and how much safer it is instead of a breaker bar.

Need more oil catching real-estate? Garbage can lid FTW. Yeah, rude, crude, but works well...

How about more storage? When I built my add on last year I maximized every available inch to clean out the main area. Tire shelf above the door.

Spare hood sleeping over the wife's car for the last couple years. Outa sight, outa mind.

Where to store the fender covers??? Make a holder out of round stock! Holds both high enough to keep clean out of the way, but just low enough to reach. You could mount that anywhere.

So what are some of your creative things that some of us may copy??? LOL

I have a 3/8ths wrench I shaved down so I can get to the header bolts on my fox easier. Its a life saver.
