    New England Dragway

    New England Dragway

NED Street Night, 6-16-21. Best was only a 12.2@119.15 and DRs slipping on the 60’. I need to lower psi and warm them up better. I warmed them up too much and pressure was close to 30. I’ll have to try rolling into the hit next time. M122 is comfy at 14psi, FRPP GT500 2.3 TVS is almost ready to go on.

    11.931 @ 116.33 (MT ET Streets)
    12.073 @ 118.43 (Nitto 555)

I love the smell of Nitromethane and rubber in the morning!
    Drag racers prayer:
As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride." -Amen

    Yep! No traction...
The boost from a 5.8 TVS supercharger comes up hard no matter what. My car goes from 0-19psi in a snap. It overpowers the 4.6 easily.
I do have 4.10s that I know have to go. I'm fighting with myself on 3.27s
I also plan on changing the ring combo to lower the boost 2.93 upper (perfect hood clearance) and an underdrive lower (6.55)
I removed a set of drag radials and went with an all season (Nitto Movivos) that surely didn't help the issue

My car is uncontrollable as it is now when I get into full boost. My old Trilogy was way easier to keep straight and predict where the car was going

Traction issues: I solved mine with MT ET Streets, 305-45-18, and 3.73's. If I remember, Stiegemeier changed the pulleys to max the M122 at 18,000 RPM. With a decent burnout, I am in the 1.7 60 foot range with no slip, just hit and go.
