Pushed it to the driveway so I can free up my garage to do some work to my daily and my Lightning. Chasing codes associated with the transmission so it sits until I can figure it out.

Grill replacement on my '03. Didn't realize what an easy job that is.

Put the original rotors back on. I had bought the drilled/slotted kind that someone posted on here back in 20...roughly a decade ago (wow! and yes, I actually kept the originals in a box for a decade...lol). Well, for the past 3 years I was having to have them turned every 6 months because I would have an earthquake in my hands when braking at speeds from 50 to 35mph. Went over to mustangeddie's place today and he swapped them out for me. Sooooo much smoother...no shakes! And my braking power seems to be a bit stronger as well. Oh yeah, I flipped 190k on the way home...

Swapped the rear air suspension for P71 grade coil springs and threw in some new HD shocks. When I got the car, it was flat on its ass on 18 yo tires. Compressor is shot too and it would be too costly to replace and install everything. Maybe one day, but right now I just want it to grace these roads again this Summer. It has been neglected for far too long.

Unfortunately, I bought it without checking it in person due to distance, trusted the seller who was a "sweet" old lady, but she swindled me saying the car was roadworthy and in better shape than it actually was. Paid CAD$16k (US$11,600) for it, got a whole laundry list of stuff to do (luckily very few items are major), but overall it's been a great experience working on this car. On the plus side, the pros:

    - Absolutely no rust, unheard of due to harsh Canadian winters and copious amounts of salt on the roads.
    - Interior is almost 100% mint. There's one barely visible cigarette burn bothering me.
    - Car is almost 100% original. Came with a K&N CAI and the new suspension I installed.
    - It has 98k km on the odometer (~60k miles).
    - It seems only 471 Marauders made it here to Canada (correct me if I'm wrong) and this '03 300A is one of those Canadian-spec ones. It was very hard to find one at a reasonable price that wasn't modded or abused.

Might be cope, but in my mind it was still a good deal for such a timeless vehicle, which provides such a unique experience and will never be made again. I can't stand new/electric cars, planned obsolescence, useless electronics that cost a fortune to replace, manufacturers denying us our right to repair, etc. This is the car for me and it shall be one legacy I'll leave my kids one day.

Installed new wiper blades and topped off washer fluid. Nothing major, but felt good to check it off the list.

Let a tear roll down my face as I got in it to go to store and saw, for the third time this year, Crape Myrtle blossoms falling off the tree and all over my MM...anyone got a chainsaw for sale?

    Resurrection

After sitting for 7 years I am resurrecting my baby. Had all services done. Fuel tank, fuel pump, steering rack, steering pump, air spring compressor all replaced. She started up immediately with fresh fuel.
    Fresh paint in October.

I drove my Marauder 852 miles total to attend an annual Mustang & All Ford car show in NE Georgia, met with 4 other Marauder owners at the show, talked to one from Atlanta, but didn't bring his DTR. Also, on the way home yesterday, my Marauder just turn 200k miles & cosmetically looks pretty good in general.
Since it has been some time since I logged in, I changed the engine oil & replaced the oil filter, replaced the headlight assemblies & had the X-pel headlight protection kit (H0913) installed by someone else that I purchased 7 years ago, had the LSD clutches replaced and discovered that there was too much play in both axle bearings and had the axles/bearings replaced, replaced the windshield due to a crack in it from a rock chip, replaced both wiper arms due to the windshield tech not installing them properly during replacing it, and replaced the electric radiator fan motor.

What brand headlight assemblies did you go with and what do you think of the fit and quality?

I had purchased the Depo brand through RockAuto.com and am satisfied with them so far. The previous set on my car were the TYC brand and they were alright, but I wet sanded and clear coated them once before & were turning yellow again. I chose not to wet sand the old ones this time.
