Hi all.
Looking for some help on tracking down a part number or letting me know what I'm doing wrong re-attaching the C-pillar trim on the driver's side rear.
I've had this trim piece hanging down for a while and finally decided to try reattaching it, but am having issues with the clips.
There's two metal clips - one on the left side of the panel, one on the right.
I can hear the clips entering the narrow inlet, but they don't seem to be engaging. As hard as I push, they don't seem to grab.
I've tried (needle nose) widening the clip and tried closing the gap on the clip, but in both cases the trim piece immediately falls back out.
Am I missing something? Or are you aware of any replacement clips available?
The clips themselves look similar to your typical metal Ford interior clips, but they're attached to a wider platform that latches onto the pillar.
Any insights are appreciated.
