My son and I have been working with a friend to restore my Marauder.
Bumper to Bumper we have been replacing everything that needs to be replaced.
My Power Steering was noisy as all hell, so we replaced the entire system with an AAE Pump and AAE Power Rack & Pinion bought from Rock Auto.
At first, the system was flawless, quiet, and it was just as good as the day my Marauder was new.
It came with a 2yr/24,000 warranty.

My son took our Marauder, when we were done, to Fayetteville, NC.
He got 25 mpg on the trip down there and he said it drove as straight as an arrow.
At 1500 miles into his trip, he pulled out of WalMart and the AAE rack lost all pressure.
Should have never happened.

As much as we try, we bought everything made in the USA, but FORD doesn't make that possible for everything.
Ford makes it IMPOSSIBLE.
AAE warranty is to take the defective rack and pinion and return it to them so they can send out a replacement.
I don't want anything to do with AAE for the rest of my life.

1500 mile failure on a Power Rack and Pinion? You lost me as a customer forever.
Never again.
If I still had the original rack and pinion, I would rebuild it myself.
