So I did a search on top rated HIDs. They offered good info. Glare, lumes, kelvin ect. My question knowing our stock headlight system is rated for 12 volts. I see some HIDs are rated as high as 130 volts. Don’t want to burn up the wire system or car. Can our wire system handle 130 volts ? Lastfit offers a LS series at130 volts.

I'll tell you right now, as someone who did this 15 years ago, PnP HID's don't work well in our factory housings. You need to find someone to do a HID or LED projector retrofit into the stock housing, not just stick bulbs in there.


That being said, the HID ballasts take 12v input (from the car), the voltage ratings you're reading is the ballast output to the bulb itself, not what it is trying to draw from the car.
