Tentative Schedule for New and Improved Kit

I talked to Nick at Kook's, and he anticipates about a month until the new and improved exhaust kit is ready. Everything should be bolt on, with no additional bending or welding required. Based on the report from Logan about his install, I expect that the new install should probably take a few hours less.

Even if you still have a shop do the work , with bolt on there is less for them to hack up...

    I agree...

I plan on installing the headers myself, cuz I don't trust any garages to do that w/out messing something else up during the process. I might even end up doing the entire job depending on just how good this kit is. but like you said, if worse comes to worse, I can always find somewhere to bring it for the finishing touches.

    yes I do have a

Barrett ........it's model 99 (33" barrell, single shot bolt action). I have a Nightforce NXS 12-42X56mm scope mounted on it. I also have another 50BMG rifle. That one is a Serbu........I shoot it at a mere 200 yard public range, but I've been dying to find someone w/enough private land where we can shoot other objects besides paper! Because that's all I can shoot at the range. I have a lot of armor piercing ammo for it too. So if you have some land, and maybe a car for a target..........I'll supply the guns and the ammo

Sweet. I'm jealous. It'd be fun to blast a ricer with that hardware!

    Hey,

I'm very serious about that previous offer. if you or some of your relatives have a lot of land, then let me know. I know it would be a long drive for me, but me and the Marauder can handle it....have gun will travel

My boss has a couple thousand acres just south of Macon. He's a gun nut and avid hunter and has been wanting a 50 for awhile too. I can check with him about using his land for some target practice but I doubt seriously that he would go for the car part. If it were to be acceptable to him, maybe you could come to the Atlanta breakfast sometime and then go shooting.

    Okay,

just let me know via the PM thing if you talk to him. Tell him that you, and him are welcome to shoot the Big 50 for as much as you can handle. I usually can shoot 30 or 40 rounds in one afternoon by myself easily. It's very loud, but w/the muzzle brakes these things have, it isn't a painfull experience like shooting my 10gauge side by side was(ouch!!). I have plenty of Milatary ammo, and you can shoot all you want(AP, API, & APIT) but if you want to shoot the match grade stuff, you'll have to buy that and bring it w/you cuz that stuff is real expensive and I have a limited supply of that.
