    Have you guys ever considered a trunk mount turbo? I drove a pickup that had a squires kit on it that had a turbo that far back, and there was no appreciable lag. This was a mild street truck; 500rwhp. It seems like that would simplify things quite a bit. There are self contained lubrication turbos now. This would reduce the forward piping needs to one pipe. Seems easier to route. I agree it's not as good; but it does seem like it would be easier.

    I think the concern on those was for cars that are driven, how much the elements can affect it down there.

    I remember kits made for the 4th gen F-body's. Made good power etc etc. looked pretty lame though. Engine looked stock. Nothing cool to look at.

    But they do work.
