i just bought a 2003 with 385000 kms. not miles.
great shape. came with 2 brand new rear tires and a spare rim.
new windshield and a brand new ford alternator in the back seat.
maintained at the dealership. rarer car seeing its canadian
$1600 That was a super deal i think.
the same day i bought it i seen one from north carolina up here in newfoundland. chased him and had a chat.

I've got one with 210,000 and another with 175k
Other than all fluids changed and new tires, the only maintenance needed was front springs, a few orings in the head unit, and a blower motor control module in 3 years.

They are such good cars, both of my parents own their own marauder, and love them.

I think you can shop hard, travel a little and buy a Marauder with less miles for a better value than buying one with higher miles.

Obviously, with plenty of examples of members car's over 200,00 and running strong, these cars can eat up the mileage... And that is one of the reasons we love these cars! But with the relative narrow value spread between lower mileage examples, and higher mileage examples... With all things being equal (1 or 2 owners, proper mantainence, records/receipts, etc.) why not find and buy the cleaner lower mileage example? In cars, money is made / saved on the buy. My advice is to buy well!
