    Nitrous Oxide in Detroit area

Any suggestions on where to buy Nitrous Oxide around Detroit? Looking for less than $4.50/lb. refills. Called a couple welding supply places that wern't very cooperative.

    Thanks.

I know, here in Central Ohio, that no local welding shops will refill any bottle they do not sell or rent out. Also, they refuse to fill a 10lb bottle....period!

Are there any local speed shops? A few of our local ones run $3 /lb specials often. I think their average is about $5 though.

Detroit speedshops, Livernois motorsports, and finish Line are 3 places I can think off of the top of my head.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but is there any difference between the medical-grade nitrous and what is used for racing?

Medical NOS is cleaner and more pure.
