What did you gap the plugs at? What plugs were in there before?

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

It looks like I'm changing the plugs again tomorrow I have them at .032 but I apparently used the wrong heat range, do you have a suggestion since the awsf-22c plugs have been discontinued?

I've had great luck with Autolite SP 103's. They don't burn out as easy as the Motorcrafts I used to run.

I changed the plugs again today with NGK TR6's, swapped the belts for new Gates green stripe belts and replaced the fuel filter with a motorcraft fuel filter. Next is a coolant flush and the engine is done. I will take some pictures tomorrow.

Have you had a chance to wash the car yet. We were interested if the whole car had the blue flake in the paint.

I ran it through the car wash, but i didn't really look close at it yet. I have lots of mechanical stuff to go through, I know i need to clay bar the car, and probably buff it afterwards.... the most troubling things to me are the the trunk (terrible repaint, chipping and the worst orange peal I've ever seen) and the rear windshield (due to the antenna mounted and a hole drilled through the window)

I'm impressed by the fact that, so far, most of the issues are cosmetic and fixable. That is great!!

I doubt that they drilled through tempered glass. It is probably double sided tape with a metal plate. Did you pull it off to see if the did drill it? I would almost bet money on this
Car is soon to be for sale...

03 300A: Full SW exhaust (sold their crappy mufflers for $50 and replaced w/ Dynomax and factory tips), JLT, GMS connectors, NGK, 4.10, lowered, Zack fuel filter mod, Xcal tune, Musclemerc catch can. Non go fast stuff: Tint, Vinyl wrapped chrome, badgeless, spoiler, blendmount and hardwire V1, trunk organizer, factory changer, BC4E Dead pedal

That would be great, but I see the mounting bracket with the antenna on the outside and a base plate with a wire coming off of it on the inside.

Dude, pull that bastard off the inside. Bet 5 bucks its double sided tape with a metal plate in it. I have seen this many many times. Even the most skilled person would not attempt drilling through tempered "safety glass" for something as petty as a cell phone antenna, gps, etc.

A glass mount antenna uses the glass as part of the antenna's operation. There is no hole, I'll put money on it.
