I miss my 86 GN. I would pay 120k for that car in a heartbeat, only if I had the money.
I would pay it if I could in a blink of an eye. I did see a GNX with even less miles for sale on eBay a couple of years ago when we were thinking of buying a GN.
Truely an awesome machine!! Definately in my top 3 or 4 of my favorite cars.
in 1989 when i was 17 i sat in #547 that was for sale at garber buick for $27,900!
last one i seen for sale was in hemmings it sold for $70k ten years ago.

~Cool, I can have one of those strangulation orgasms without the strangle.

The perfect car to park next to your Marauder!
They once described the GNX as "Darth Vader's car".

Dealer near me has done the same thing with a 2008 Mustang GT 500. Salesman had it sold for 90K and the owners said not enough. Speed forward 2011 new GT 500 way better and all so car sits in the back corner of their showroom. I'm working on getting them to sell it to me for $1. Think I'll have to wait a long time?

I currently have an 86 GN and looking for a MM to add as a match. Guess I went the other way first I've been heavily involved with GNs for a couple of years and have had the opportunity of visiting Richard Clark's in Burlington, NC. Richard likely has the largest collection of GNs and GNXs in the world. He has three GNXs....One has 5 miles (it was trailored from the dealership), one is Stage 1 and one is his daily driver. He has roughly 20 to 30 GNs and warehouses and tractor trailers full of complete suspensions, interiors, engines, et al. He is certainly the king of GNs, and a very generous guy with his time and knowledge. He'll show you how to tear down a 2004r tranny as he holds seminars quite often and is recognized as a leader in these transmissions. As far as GNs goes, he's the king.
