I'm swapping radios. Been wanting to do this for something like eight years. Any recommendations on AUX input adapters?

I went with this from "hifisound connection". soldered all the wires by hand to make a harness that would plug into the MM factory harness and and connect to the Escape CD player. The CD I bought 5L8T-18C815-ED was not an audiophile(doh!) and had the so-called "world plug". a black square plug, problem was the HiFi sound connection plug outer plastic was too big wouldn't fit into the Escape without some sanding on the side, then it plugged in. You have been warned...

Well, did a test run, and it's great to get FM radio reception in the car again.

I'm not certain why you needed those plugs. For me it was direct plug-and-play. There's just no control of the disc changer in the trunk, but I'm not worried about it. It always acted weird.

Different Escape CD players have different plugs. Some are plug/play to the Marauder connector this 2005 CD player was NOT.

Congrats! It’s a bittersweet feeling. Been there.
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard
