    My Eaton Swap

On December 8th, Harris (bugsyc) started a thread that his Eaton swap kit was up for sale.

I happened to be at Charlotte's, and saw bugsy's post shortly after he posted it. After a brief discussion with Char., I called Justbob, told him about the kit and asked what he charged for the install.

The trigger was pulled at that point, and contacted bugsy that I wanted to purchase it.

We agreed on the price, monies were wired, and the kit was on it's way to me.

Months went by having all these parts, while the anticipation kept building as I polished the blower many times over until February 23rd...

Charlotte followed me up to Bob's castle, handed over the keys, checked in the hotel, then met up with a bunch of Chitown peeps for some food and drink.

The next day, we checked out, then headed back to Louisville.

From that date until the Louisville meet was the longest I have been away form my Marauder since I took ownership in October of 2004.

    Brutal.

While trying not to bother Bob by texting/calling, he did a great job updating me on his progress moving forward.

There were several roadblocks during the build, yet Bob, Joe and Brandon pushed forward, bringing the car back to life with it's new found power.

Exactly one month to the day, she was strapped down and 4 pulls later she was dialed in at 416/391 @ 11 lbs. boost.

April 4th finally rolled around where my baby was to be delivered at Louisville!

I was literally pacing the parking lot at the hotel until I saw Rex (SC Cheesehead) pull up with her.

The day was here, and it was real. I was Blown!

Still pinching myself that it actually became a reality, and a dream come true!

    Here's to you guys...

    Thanks for reading.

Justbob posted that based on the fact this dyno is known to read low. I am posting the numbers that are reflected on the dyno sheet.

Stock feeling while in vacuum. Pedal is stiffer due to the single blade throttle body.

Other than that, it's a blast having the power beneath your feet that will lay you back in your seat.
