Was posted on TCG right after it happened, it wasn't my car or business to post it over here. Joe posted about it on TCG, if he wanted people to know, I'm sure he would have posted over here.

It did, frame took a hard shot in front of the LF tire, probably a total, it will depend on what value the insurance will put it at as to if they will repair it.

That's awful. Extremely nice car. Glad he's OK. I have a undamaged frame with the front end if you decide to resurrected it. Good luck Joe.

Sorry to read this happened to a fellow Joe. Also glad to read he wasn't injured physically. Car appears to have been well maintained - hoping it can be repaired. Any more details about this accident? Recent developments? Another Marauder sibling takes a hit....

I've been down this road b4. Insurance wanted to total it out so I had them cut Me a check for $4000 and I took a shot at fixing it! Got the whole car straightened out and repainted.

What did it end up costing you to repair the Marauder? Any serious issues? Did the final product meet your expectations? I totaled my immaculate '98 GT back in 2011 with 101k miles - happened on a saturday morning and was scheduled for a new headliner on monday morning.

The insurance adjuster noticed the headliner LOL!!! SF gave me $6k for the car and offered to sell it back to me for $900. Most of the damage was on the LF from hitting a power pole, on the right side from sliding into a concrete culvert and various locations from the wrecker totally mishandling the car. Everyone who looked at it for me stated that it could be fixed but 'don't do it'!

They all stated it would probably cost a bit more than $6k and that I probably wouldn't be happy with the results. Cooling system wasn't busted despite the radiator being at an odd angle and the car would start. Switched to daylight savings time that weekend so I reset the clock, left all of the manuals and doc folder in it, turned the keys into the insurance agent and the car went to auction - it truly brought a tear to my eye. Hoping someone bought and fixed it.

No good images of it other than me and other family members standing next to it at the wrecker yard looking like the cleaned up version of the Beverly Hillbillies...won't post them in a public forum LOL!!!

Insurance wrote My friends body shop the check and I said "fix it." I spent a little money out of pocket to get the rare parts but He took care of the car and I had the whole thing repainted! I lucked out. It drives straight as an arrow thankfully!

It was a joke. Sarcasm is dead here.

Also the weird way people view things on this site is hard to fathom. If my Marauder was wrecked and another member knew about it and wanted to post about it, where’s the issue? Same for whomever bought a car for sale here. Neither one is a big deal anywhere other than this site.

From what I'm reading, Joe, you are okay, thank the Lord.
