    Thumbs up New Member

I'm a new member as of yesterday and want to say I'm glad to be here. I just purchased my 2003 Marauder yesterday and I'm already in love. She only has 30,300 miles on her to date. I really dont know where to start or what to do as of now. I want to install some 3.73's and maybe a cold air kit. Was thinking of lowering it a bit, but they may be out of the question.

Hope to get to know you all soon. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome aboard!

    Come to Marauderville VIII.

Forget the 3.73's and go to 4.10's.

    Get the JLT CAI.

Get a tune from either Lidio or DR.

Congrats on your MM and welcome to Oz .... I mean MM.Net.

Many folks here by-passed the 3.73s and went with the 4.10s. The 3.73s only buy you +5% over the stock 3.55s. Barely enough to notice. The 4.10s get +15%. This makes a big difference in getting a 4,200 pound beast moving.

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site and your new ride.

Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

Welcome aboard. Nice find with that low mileage. I saw in another thread you want to lower the car already. Is this for looks or handling? As stated above, 4.10s, CAI and a tune will make a huge difference in your new toy.

Welcom aboard! I'm over in Rome. I get together with other Marauder guys from around Atlanta the 3rd Saturday each month. Not this Sat but the next we are on if you want to come and join us. We meet up on the North end of Atl at Delk Road at 8 am. Just North of 285. If you would like to go shoot me a pm and we'll work out a time to meet up. There's a few big events coming up the next few months. Marauderville 8 in N.C is Sept 8-12 and the SSHS10 will be in Novemeber over in Atlanta. This year will be my first to both. Anyway welcome again.

PS. My mods are in the signature. I actually just started with a tune and then as you can see the MOD BUG bit me hard! LOL

+1, I got 4.10's, headers, CAI, and a tune and love the beast. welcome to the site, and you should definitely come to the breakfast next Sat in Atlanta. I havn't been to a breakfast yet, as I just moved here, but the first Sunday of every month there is a car show in Marietta, the caffeine and octane cruise in and thats pretty cool.

    welcome aboard

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I've always loved the Marauder's since I heard of them coming out before production. Never did get one. I later owned a '96 Impala SS for about 5 years. Then bought a Mustang LX 5.0 and went all out with it. Supercharger and all. It was a mid 11 sec street car with A/C and full interior.

My plan is to get this thing lowered just for looks. I love a lowered car with the tires about tucked. Get some gears to make it quicker and feel lighter, plus the tune you guys speak of. I bought this car out of Atlanta. It was originally purchased in Vegas by a Police Officer if I'm not mistaken. It has a Mercury Marauder.net sticker on the back window so I'm guessing the guy was a member here.

The car has the J-Mod done and a sticker under the hood where the dealer flashed the computer as well.

I'm going to try and make the breakfast and ride in next week. Hopefully I'll have it lowered by then at the very least.
