When I punch it, it goes to 18 PSi but then drops off to 15.5 PSI.

Maybe some resriction due to the Triolgy inlet design........

Looking at porting the inlet to the blower this winter, hopefully that helps her out a bit...........or just gonna set up to a 2.9...........

Been reading a lot about thata blower, but I'm starting to wonder if we could put it on our cars, the snout is a lot shorter than the 3.4 and the 2.3 it seems. someone had mentioned belt alignment issue could be an issue with it.

The 2.9l is the same as a 2.3, it just has a shorter snout, belt alignment will be the same as the 2.3

I talked with Whipple about this and they said the dimentions are the same as far as length and height, the 2.9s case is longer so it takes a shorter snout to work on the 03/04 cobra, both are direct bolt in replacement/upgrades

In that case, this means that the 2.9 can also fit under the stock hood?

well no leak as I have smoke tested the car......could be belt slip, but there are no sign's of this.........
just think the inlet needs to be ported to help it grab the air better......
If i go to the 2.9 it will be with a crusher inlet.........
one concern is that the body is longer and may interfer with the hood clearance....just gonnna shim the K member down.........

Also the coolant cross over tubes would need modifing as the come out on a different angle and the 2.9 body being longer will interfear.......

YES it will(with the right pulley), both the 2.3, and the 2.9 are the same length from rear to the pulley

Yes the 2.9s case is longer but the snout is shorter, were still dealing with the same length on both blowers
