Thread: Is the 2005 Aviator block the same casting as ALUMINATOR?

    You will have to remove your Marauder specific parts like the oil pick up tube the oil pan the exhaust manifolds the front timing cover the intake manifold but it all boils on to the aviator engine. And most likely the aviator has a bad transmission or a bad engine if it is not wrecked

    I just grabbed the heads off the Aviator. Got one DB and one DC head. I have a Teksid block, which my research said it is the best bet for ... me. I will be doing a complete cam swap, valves, retainers, followers and all. I'll clean up the ports in and out and lighten the valve train up as much as I feasible can. I would love to wind this thing out to 7,500 RPM, building power all the way.
