Any trouble spots to look at?

It may not be obvious until you start wiggling and jiggling.... I had to take the wiper cowl off to find my issue. Seems it's much more common on the driver side wiper cowl bracket.

I'll look into that when it stops raining, totally doesnt match the symptoms or codes in my first post.... but I also have the speedo issue you mentioned in those post.

while its so rare that I dont think about it, it has occasionally stalled (electronics spaz, speedo drops and comes back up, and engine dies.... cycle the key and its fine) maybe a handful of timevsince I bought it 60k miles ago.

I had the cowl bracket cause a no start on my 03CV because it got the range sensor wire. That is the main harness for the pcm, just depends on which wires chafe as to which symptoms you see.

    That video is very telling.
Have you pulled the plugs yet?
You may have dropped a valve seat, which is a known issue

Or, it's out of time, which would set off the codes you have

I'm yet to pull the plugs. Sounds like an electric issue, or cam timing.

    Best way to check timing?

Pull the plugs before doing anything else. Your video audio is very clear that 1 or more cylinders are misfiring. May be as simple as fouled/shorted plug(s), or bad COP(s) or as bad as a dropped seat like Zach said.

Wouldn't a burnt valve or dropped valve seat show up as a low compression reading on the offending cylinder? I wonder if you'd hear anything weird on that side of the exhaust out the tailpipe.....

I heard a nose today outside my tail pipe while it started bogging when I stepped on it

.... Definitely more than a single cyl missing....

And I did not post codes for a misfire... Both codes are crank or cam sensors

ah i see you are correct you posted p0340. I read it as p0304 since im more used to it I suppose. In 10+ years of custom tuning fords I've never once came across a p0340 code. Another reason why I always recommend posting the code meanings with codes #s.
