    Eibach springs--alignment problems

I had Eibach srpings put on my car about a year ago, and i was told that they could not align it properly, they needed a part that eibach did not make..to be honest I cant really remember exactly what they said, but does any of this sound familiar???????

Thanks for the help, I know its vague

Maybe your shop doesn't have the 'corrected' specs ???

I thought that if the car was stock they had the Ford specs to use but if the height had been altered (for example: Eibach springs) they had to manually do it.

    Am I correct?

If thats the case maybe they just don't do cars out of dealer specs (takes longer and may not be exact).

You're sorta correct. The specs are specs regardless of mods. The specs were set up for a stock MM. You may want to have the suspension aligned differently than the stock specs with the Eibach springs (e.g. more caster, less camber). However, the stock specs are a good starting point.

Setting the alignment is always a manual operation. I'm not sure what you mean that they have to do it manually to set it.

Also, the cam for adjusting camber is under the flag on the front bolt of the LCA (attaching it to the aluminum cross member). Perhaps your shop thinks an alignment kit is required for camber adjustment. A kit isn't required.
