    2003 Mercury Marauder, new tires, dealer serviced and clean - $10500 (N Atlanta))

    For sale is my 2003 Mercury Marauder. This model has the big 4.6L V8 Mustang Cobra aluminum engine producing 302hp, dual chrome exhaust, 8 way power adjustable seat, cruise control, auto-adjust headlights, ABS, sport tuned suspension, factory chrome rims, tinted windows, leather seats (front and rear), a full size spare, front and rear consoles, satin aluminum gauges, and the list goes on and on... This is one immaculate ride, even to the point that, to avoid hurting the original marauder floor mats, the original owner and myself kept black bathmats over all original floormats to avoid damaging or staining them.

    This Mercury has been dealer serviced since purchase and driven almost completely on the interstate without any major problems in the entire life of the vehicle. It has a clean vehicle history report and has NEVER been in an accident! I just recently replaced, balanced and aligned all four tires with the factory BF Goodwrench KDWS "ZW" speed rated tires.

    This vehicle is the crown jewel of the panther platform. This car has a better interior, more features, and more power than Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis clones ever will. This is the greatest all American combination of performance and luxury, and is sure to be a treasured collector's piece in the years to come. (but ya'll already know that!) Marauders are hard to come by; becoming rarer each year. Pick this bad boy up before they're gone!

    I am selling it because I really need a truck. I will trade for a 2000+ F-250 or F-350 diesel Quad Cab Lariat (not the sissy 1/2 door thing) under 170,000 miles.

    It doesn't have a Cobra engine unless you replaced the OEM and 4.6liters is a small V-8 a measly 281 cu in, but I wish you all the best in finding it a new home.

    Buyers will need to know the mileage to judge what a fair value is for your Marauder.

    Maybe he's talking about the 4.6 DOHC's exterior dimensions....especially the cam covers!
