    Barry's cars

Since Barry has passed, I have been in contact with his daughter sending prayers, regards and support from the MM.net community.

At the time of his death, I also told her that I was in negotiations with him on the black twin screw (Gary's old car) we were close to an agreement.

We have been in contact the year and almost half since his death. Her Mom was/is ready to part with the cars. Right now the DTR is on the block and none of the others are for sale at this time. The DTR has one of my old engines in it the one MartyO put in and did a bunch of work on it for him. When she told me the price I almost fainted. I tried my best to give her guidance on the going prices on these. So, if anyone is seriously interested in the DTR. I can get you in touch with her. I'll research some posts on it and try to paint a picture of it for the community. Maybe MartyO can chime in on the engine specs/ upgrades.

I have pics of the DTR someplace, he had the car repainted. I still have my emails from Barry with what he offered them to me for, not that would hold any weight.

No clue what she wants, but all are beyond nice.

I do miss the old man, real nice guy, miss his one liners too.

I was trying to buy one of his cars in the past and it seems like his black car that he bought new with fairly low miles was the best priced one of all.
