    TCE S/S Brake line question

Anyone had any issues with them in the past? I installed the brake lines not long ago. Drove the car for 1k miles and one of the rear ones had a puncture because my widen wheels was rubbing up against it and ate it up. Now that I replaced it, I checked the others and the driver side has slight wear. I did lower the car also. If anyone has any insight I Would greatly appreciate it.

There was a thread about "twisting" the hoses a t1/2 turn or two before tightening to cause them to move away from tires (if I recall correctly. I will check mine tomorrow AM.

When you install them, make sure they don't rub.
Twist works, so does high pressure fuel line.

Both were suggested in that other thread

You must clock them in a certain position and then check to see if the tires rub. I used a zip tire to the spring to pull one line back a little on the front.

Mine did this on stock wheels. It only chafed the outside lining but I loosened them and did 'the twist' to bring them closer to the control arm. My fault for not paying attention when the wheels were back on.
