That trooper sounds like he was being an A-Hole, every profession has them. Who knows what he is going through, not that it makes his behavior ok.

I am an LEO in a city in MA, I don’t find anything posted here offensive, not that anyone can post anything that would offend me at this point, I’ve been called, read, and heard it all and worse, trust me.

Hope your car is an easy fix!

"The local policeman was friendly, professional and courteous. I will call his HQ tomm to tell them how professional he was." - Please don't over look this part.

I was told by a friend to write a letter of recommendation, which I will for this local policeman. He even offered me a ride to the auto shop!

Yes the State Policeman was a jerk, but in the end he did not write me a ticket. He does not have the disposition to be in the field.

Your skilled at remaining calm enabled the outcome: the state trooper left without ticketing, arresting or shooting you!

I would have been shot dead.

Don't attach 'by the cops' as a suffix and run it through Google. Should I change my signature? Inquiring minds want to know.

Being shot isn't as bad as being doxed Would you like me to post up pics of your license plate, home address, families full names, place of employment, credit card numbers, SS number... J/K! I could never do that.

As far as some of the other comments..... so you are aware, there are LEO’s that are on this board as well, painting all LEO’s with that wide brush is what all the BLM and snowflakes complain about...... profiling.

So if you want to continue with your anti police rhetoric, I’m always glad to play along, since I don’t have feelings, mine won’t get hurt, but I can guarantee someone’s will.

Amazing how a “I broke down” thread turned into anti-anything, but it is the internetz.
Wasn't busting on any LEOs in my post except that one Md. State Trooper.
Have had other 'interactions'..(lol) with other Md. State Troopers and they all were very courteous and straight forward.
Some even cut me a break!

Police department in Western Mass. town resigns en masse

The entire police department in Blandford, a small town in Western Massachusetts, resigned Monday, leaving instructions for residents on what to do in the event of an emergency on its Facebook page.

“Attention Blandford residents: If you have a police, fire or medical emergency, please continue to call 911 as you normally would,” the post read. “The entire Blandford Police Department resigned this evening, effective immediately.”

RELATED: Frustrations over equipment, working conditions prompted Blandford resignations

The chair of the town’s board of selectmen, Cara Letendre, confirmed Monday night that the town’s three officers and interim police chief, Roberta Sarnacki, had resigned earlier in the day.

    https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/20...vmN/story.html

2nd Page goes on to say...

Letendre said the board of selectmen also reached out to surrounding communities for assistance.

“I’m disappointed, to say the least, but I have no concerns about the safety of our residents because we’re covered, as we always are,” she said.

She as in Letendre, the one that probably said nope to their requests...

Good for them. You have to have the proper tools to do a proper job..

Nor should he have written you a ticket. A call, or a visit to his post commander should get that disposition squared away right now.

Waiting to hear why Salismen's car went kaput - alternator was also the first item that came to mind.

Many years ago, I was doxxed by the same 'shadowy group'(?!?!) that runs the Stormfraud (Stormfront) 'kabuki theatre'. It was a sloppy trail (that got worse) with many clues, but largely good guesses and pure luck on my part. Overconfidence on their part lead to pure stupidity.

In the meantime, I've forgotten the names of the 'primary players' I uncovered although two were university 'professors'(?) at a major 'criminal justice' college in the NE US. It's still amazing to me the lengths our government will go to 'entrap subversives'(?).

I'm still at the same home and email address, now retired. One major compromise to my credit back in the day, none since. Lots of spam phone calls and emails that make me chuckle.

    The earth still rotates.

If the alternator craps out www.car-part.com for a local marauder one is your best bet
Keep your original one just in case.

I've never been arrested as a adult and had plenty of pull over stops and DUI check points. I've had some great experiences and some bad, but if you keep your mouth shut and give respect to the officer, life is usually good.

Once got a warning doing 95 in a 60, warning was written as 95, and I had been going well past triple digits while getting clocked slowing down.

Hope the car gets fixed cheap! Let us know

Blowgun, I got over it. Slight PTSD, I could never be a plumber. I quiver at the sight of copper or round pipe. Pointy things like pens, pencils and withes hats make my bowels loosen.
