Got my first taste of the road coarse, not my last.

Went to two track days last week, Pacific Raceways in Kent WA(formally SIR) on thursday, and The Ridge Motorsports in Shelton WA on friday.

Aside from completely roasting my almost new Motorcraft pads the first day and scrambling to find performance pads that night for the next day, the car was flawless, suspension and tire upgrades kept the car glued to the track as I threw everything I could at it.

Really had a great time, 5 sessions each day of 10-18 laps each session. Definently going to do it some more. Next track on my list is Portland International.

Coached really helped me maximize my flow through the track and were just in general very helpful.

Any suggestions for other road coarses in the Pacific Northwest would be appreciated. I've set my long term goals to drive the Marauder on Laguna Seca, Tsukuba Circuit, Nurburgring, and Silverstone.

I found a set of performance friction carbon metallic pads and they went through the entire second day with no fade and no wear, seemed the motorcrafts just couldn't take it.

I'm debating brake upgrades at the moment.

The first day was a mustang/ford track day, so allot of compliments and tech questions. The second day was open track day, due respect was shown and many people respected it.

I was smashing on a stock miata, sentra R, legacy, and v6 mustang. I was pretty closely measured with a g37, which would keep up in the straights but I'd take him in the corners, besides that mostly getting passed by v8 stangs. Not allot of real fast cars in the beginners group.

What do you want to do to take it to the next level? More punch? Drop weight?

Well as far as Improvement to the car, like I said I'm looking into brake upgrades. Next year I am planning on Stainless works complete system and a torque converter. Get the engine rev'n higher. I'm not really looking to be the fastest car on the track, I just want to enjoy myself, its not a race, just a track day.
