Was the Marauder made to be Modifiable?

I've been looking at all the aftermarket parts and stuff and how their are extra spaces in the fuse box etc... It seems almost as if the Marauder was made with the option to modify it.

    What do you think?

Well they did put an engine in it that already had aftermarket parts on the markets and a rear axel that you could also mod.

    Same as a cop car

The MM uses the same fuse box as the CV & GM, I would have to say that the extra fuse spots are for all the cool cop stuff. Lights, Radio, TAZERS!

Possibilities are endless for mods just depends on how much you want to spend!

I think Yes and No. Yes becuase we do share common parts with the mustangs like engine , trans and rear end.
But also No becuase its a "specialty vehicle" alot of vendors dont even look at us becuase we are such a small market. And those awsome vendors who do take up our cause must significantly raise their prices to cover custom R & D and Production . i.e. ( and im not knocking any vendor ) 6 K for a blower set up that would be half that for a more massively produced vehicle like mustangs.
With that said modding cars is more addictive, and I for one just cant stop.

I dunno DR's Non-intercooled kit is the same price as the same blower for my wife's 01 Cobra.

Looking thru the mustang mags and seeing their prices makes me cry. And also the wide availability and options that they have to chose from. But having kid # 3 ride in the trunk probably wouldn't get me father of the year award. As for modding whether mercury left that as an option i would say it wouldn't matter cause you could mod anything made no matter if it was made to be modded.
