    J-Mod or a Tune from Marty?????

    I really dont like how are transmissions take so long to shift in our cars and i really want a tune for my car im still running the loaded tune for my SCT Tuner and i was thinking should i get the J-Mod to beef up my shift for my transmission or just buy a tune from Marty and let him do the shifts ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    A tune will take care of some of your shift issues, so I would get the tune first. That being said, I would also do a J-mod whenever you get a chance.

    Get both, a tune can increase the trans line pressure to firm up your shifts, but the better safer way is to do a Jmod, then you don't need to raise line pressures.

    If you have money only for one now, I'd suggest getting a tune from Mo's!

    Agreed! I only wish I had done my J-mod a lot sooner than I had. After I had my torque converter installed my shifts got super soft even with a tune. Doing the J-mod fixed that problem very quickly. lol
