I have to make it out to a Marauderville one of these days. I was very tempted when it was in Indy since I'm originally from there but I was in the middle of getting layoffed at the time.
How the H3LL did you arrive at that time?? You planning on driving the whole trip at 50 MPH? You should be able to knock that 16 hour one-way down to 14 hours easily. Think that I could make it in 12 or under. That's a long day; but it can be done in the MM.
I know it's hard to believe, but my DTR can and DOES go faster than 50 MPH

Come'on Slickster, try to plan for MV X!!!!!

    South Haven Refrigerator

This is John's outdoor refrigerator in late September:

    1957 Custom 2 dr Sedan, 1979 F-series 14' U-Haul 330 XD, 1979 F150 4X4 428 PI/CJ heads/NP 435/4:11 axles-rear Det. Lkr., 1993 Grand Marquis, Y2K CVPI supercharged 5.4, 2003 MM

The more I learn, the more I find out I don't know.

    Confusion will be my epitaph...

Home of the Berserker Marauder, one of the ancient Norse warriors legendary for working themselves into a frenzy before a battle and fighting with reckless savagery and insane fury, held to be invulnerable...shirtless regardless of wounds...(possibly due to ingestion of psychotropic and hallucinatory drugs such as Fly Agaric Mushrooms)...

Ya, 678 miles 1 way, I could do in 9.75 hours + 1 hour refuling/pit stops = 10.75. Round to 11 for good luck! Or a big push 1st day stop & relax and finish last few hours next morning. Easy-Peezy!!!

Your on your way to a fun time. Having a plan is half the battle

I have run many 6-8 mile days in a marauder and have had no issues

It's only fair to warn you I come from a driving background (bus)

OTR trucking here. Many overnight from Chi-town to Jersey/NY in my past.

Actually the 681 I was referencing was a comment on Bluerauders comment on slickster's 32 hour comment.

It's just around the lake for me.

What's the other half? I'm guessing it's not a dictionary.
