    Got my car back...WOW!

It has been in the shop for a few weeks now. Got the DR Level II tranny upgrade, the PI Stallion single disc 2800 rpm stall converter, B&M deep tranny pan, head cooling mod, Zack/Mac control arms, and a re-tune to straighten out the shifting and AFR. It's like a different car. Shifts great, easily burns them on takeoff, barks them on 1-2 shift. Doesn't short-shift any more. Gotta be careful or it'll get plumb sideways on ya! I don't think I should let the wife drive it anymore, it's getting to be too wicked for her: let her drive her stocker. Gotta take it a little easy for awhile to break in the Kevlar bands and clutches.

Haven't had a chance to do much testing on the control arm handling difference yet, but they are very professionally made, fit perfect. Scott said the bolts practically fell in the holes they lined up so well.

Hope to make it out to FFW ATL at least for Sunday. Gotta work Fri, Sat. Hate to miss breakfast.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:
$1800 and it was worse than when he started!

    Glad you're happy Brian.

I was there when the boys Dyno-tuned it Tuesday afternoon/evening...those shifts are the way they were ALWAYS should have been, eh? My car is now tuned better than it EVER has before...and that includes 2 "Jerry-tunes".

I'm glad I got all the tranny and tuning stuff done at the same time & place. The "Team" really got the job done.

While I was there picking up the car I also got myself one of those nice GT posters from the sales dept!

Congradulations on your new mods! I just can't wait to get started myself.
Out of curiosity, how does the 2800rpm stall converter differ from the stock one in regular drivability? Does it act any differently and how?
