    Need some advice on CAI

I purchased a JLT CAI several months ago and it came with a short K&N filter. Had it installed at Mo's and I do like it, but it looks a little 'short' compared to other I've seen--not just the filter, but the entire setup. I've seen customized pieces incorporated with most CAIs, as seen in the pic I attached.

Being new to the CAI game, I have no clue where to look or go to customize mine. Any pointers would be appreciated.

    TIA...

The K&N bows out more to the drivers side compared to the JLT which has a short smooth bend off the TB and then straight tube to the headlight.

The JLT filter is a S&B Powerstack 4x9" filter. $50 shipped.
    Part number is SBAFR459 http://jlttruecoldair.com/ZenCart/in...roducts_id=214

I bought myself a second one so I wasn't rushed when cleaning the filter.

I did the same. Always have a clean one ready to install.

Thanks for the input, fellas....will order a filter mentioned above soon. (Can substitute in my current one when the larger one needs cleaning/re-oiling)

I'm more interested in getting my CAI setup to look similar to the one in the pic I attached in the first post. A custom (maybe?) piece from the TB to the filter and the 'box' (if you call it that) near the headlight.

if you want one to look like the first pic,the easiest way would be to buy a K&N CAI because thats what it is.
