With the red, white, and blue badge? Only year to have that. Bi-centennial edition.
Still get a chuckle from the scene in Top Secret the movie with the Pinto.

No, just white with full glass. My brother did have a '76 Maverick Stallion, though.
How much for the Pinto Wagon? (asking for a friend)
Appreciate your asking, but I'm not ready to let it go yet. I'll let you know if I do.

I LOVE Jerry's bar, it's my kinda place...........
When you are dead, you don’t know you are dead. It is difficult only for others. It is the same way when you are stupid.

BOOST GETS YOU FELONY STOPPED!!!
That's why I'm selling all the 2.3L 'Pinto' stuff.....too much work.
A junkyard 2.3L Ecoboost, not a junkyard LS, is the answer!
When my brother and I were building our ERA Cobra, an LS motor would have been the cheapest solution.......
but who would want to drive a '427 Cobra' with a Chevy smallblock in it?
We did it really right with an all aluminum Shelby block & heads, solid lifter 427 FE FORD big block.
(With a stroker crank to make the FE 468 cubes...heh heh heh...)
Makes the 2,400 lb Cobra move at warp speed!
Cheapest way to go....? Heck NO!
The least expensive way to mod a car is seldom a major factor for my projects.
'85 Mustang GT will get a Gen 3 Coyote swap.
You guys know how to get me riled up by suggesting Chevy LS motors...lol

never mind....lol
Hey Joe, I feel ya! I just had a guy at work who's been "trying" to buy (or should I say "steal") my 1986 GT vert. Right now it's a solid 7 to 8 foot car sporting its original paint (rock chips etc) and original leather interior (driver quality but has a couple cracks in drivers seat and dash). Everything else is new (powertrain, suspension, gas tank, brakes, trans, clutch, rear, exhaust, top etc). He was pissed that I wouldn't take $4k. You know what? Registered and insured as an antique now, it's cheaper to drop the top and enjoy it rather than give this thing away after all the work over the last 18 years I have owned it.
"RescuRauder", Born on 09/02/2003 & rescued on 04/05/2013. #236 of 3214 and #62 of 1237 in Black. CAI, Some kind of tune, Kooks Headers, X-pipe w/Hi-Flow cats, Magnaflow mufflers, Resonators removed, 4.10's, Metco U&L CA and Watts link, Drilled & slotted rotors, now BOOSTED!! Eaton Swapped 12/29/19!!
Sold! 1986 Mustang GT Vert, Black, 5spd, new short block, Powerheads, Crower 15511, gears, exhaust etc.
1968 Ford (Galaxie) XL fastback, 390, factory buckets & auto on floor
2011 Shelby GT500, Kona Blue with SVT Performance Pkg & Navigation, VMP tuned ~550rwhp/550rwtq. Finally Blown!
That is a rare car. I've owned a number of fox bodies (currently have an '86 SSP coupe) and I think you'll find the values have been rising on these, especially on some of the rarer versions such as yours.
I would avoid the temptation to resto-mod it, and just hang onto it as-as-is if you can.
