Just saw the pic in your original post. Looks like you've made progress since I saw it last.
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

Good Luck...sounds like a FUN project!!
With that intake manifold he has, it wont make crap for power under 4000 rpm, it will need a 4-5000 stall.
Most fast guys just lock the cams and do not use VCT because the engine is past the rpm need for torque.

Plus he has aftermarket cams, i would seriously think about a very high stall.

Most likely the power band is now 4800-7500....
If you install a higher stall than needed, then the performance will suffer because the stall speed is higher than the power band. I would do some research.
I would think the sweet spot on the motor is 6500-7500.. maybe higher. This video, the car drops down 2000 rpm with each shift, if he had a higher stall it would only drop down 1000 rpm and the car would probably be a full second faster. Probably 100 horse difference between 5500 and 7500. If kept in the sweet spot, you go faster. https://youtu.be/UcOz4KBof0M

I have the MMR VCT Lock out kit just in case. But I have been in contact with circle d and he was saying guys running a set up like mine, but in a mustang, like a 4000 stall so I think I will try that out and go from there.
