This is how I mounted mine.

Inline / after the stock cooler.

I didn't think you could bend aluminum in a 90 like that without it cracking.

Almost as crazy - going to try and put it in the big opening in between the fog lights. Seriously Bob what say you?

Looks good - I like those fittings. I have the barb style ones. Did you just use zip ties to hold it to the inner support crossmember things?

    Thanks for the pictures.

If you try to straighten it, it will break. Gotta get it right the first time!

Aluminum is real soft. If you got a vice its real easy to make the bracket. My tranny cooler is the one darrin recomends its the bigger version of yours I guess.

Here is what I bought. It is a size smaller than what Darren (Bc-Automitive) recommended, but I think it will be fine. I wanted to mount it low in the car behind the lower slit in the grill in between the fog lights - so it will get fresh air. Any tips on this job? Anyone done it?

I was going to put it INLINE after the stock cooler with the thermal bypass before it.Also the lines on this are 3/8 and the MM uses 5/16 what's the best way to deal with that? Thanks

3/8" hose barbs on side of cooler.
    Size 4 x 23 x 3/4 inch
WITHOUT external thermal bypass! ( I purchased one)
    8 plates, 24,000 GVW / 22,000 BTU ratings

I've been running with just a deep pan and no cooler with my 9.5" PI. I need to get my SGII upgraded so it will read the trans temp.

Suggestions and comments welcome. I did read every post in this forum related to a cooler...

where did you buy it from and what size did darren say to get?

He said to get the Tru-Cool Max (Medium) - I got the Mini as I'm in NY where it's not as hot as in the south - plus I'm mounting it where there will be no radiator etc behind it. Fresh air...
